Looking for some old insider knowledge here. I have buddy restoring an old mini boat and it has a Chrysler outboard mounted in the boat with the mid and lower going through the boat into the water. Anyways long story short, I'm having trouble finding this old serial number so we can track down the hp and also some parts to get it back on the water again. Any info will help, thanks for looking !!

Engine Model # 6500H9A
Engine Serial # 1110

I don't know about the hp but it sounds like an "L" Drive. I Know they made a 90hp model.

I think the L Drives were as a Force.

Always wanted to hit rod their I-5 150’s.

Worked on a friends and it had 150 psi stock!

I remember the carburetors looked like they were off a lawn mower though!

carbs were not off lawn mowers

Ones I worked on had one pc, stamped sheet metal, float bowls retained by one screw, up through the bottom of the bowl.

All as in, a lawn mower.

the 1-5 "150" i think was more like a 135hp.

I think someone meant to say that Force won Mod 100 maybe. A Force never won Mod U.

Was thinking….

Even Mod 100?
That would mean beating a V-4 looper?

Hmmm...so many different classes after all of the old stock OPC ones were changed. I seemed to remember a Mod 70 or Mod 90 class. Also Formula 100. By the way, does anyone know where all of the SST-100 OMC loopers ended up?

Mod 100 could run T2 6 carb. Pretty much anything you could do to 100 cu in outboard..Formula 100 restricted to 4 venturi

It's 65 , you want parts FranzMarine.com . Probably a mod xflow trick port motor, 77/78/79 , 155-165psi highring .

Definitely not the one rope pull above in the ad

Tillotson carb is the carburetor that Chrysler used on most of their outboards
