Long time reader, first time poster, Anyone here have information on Solution Boats? I’ve done some research and all I’ve found is they were made by Robert Santhoff in socal in the 80s. I have an 85 center pod tunnel Solution with a 93 Evinrude 200 Limited Edition on it that I’m going to restore this winter, I bought it not running for $2200 a few years ago. I’m just looking for information on the hull and if it’s a good platform. So far I’ve gotten 70mph out of it with a 27p 4 blade stainless omc prop and the motor to deep in the water. I plan to strip it, new transom, new floor, jack plate, true up the bottom and maybe some engine work. It has seastar hydro steering and a bobs nose cone already. Any info would be appreciated.

Cool rig. Looks like a converted jet from the transom pic? Looks kind of like a Sanger. Thanks for the pics, I'm sure some people smarter than me will drop by to give you some information.

I don’t think it was ever a jet, there is no stringers and not much room between the tunnels for a pump but who knows *♂️
Splash of a Sleekcraft, with deck mods.
That side sponson is just like a SST
He rose the deck in the back, water would come over the back of the boat while sitting still, very low freeboard,
