Any interest in a 260 long block fresh built with all new nik, wizard 99series lightweight pistons, rods magnafluxed & checked for straightness, small bearing crank magnafluxed and checked out? I have an array of different head ccs that could go with it. LL small bearing block with stock exhaust and porting. Let me know any interest and what one would be willing to pay for this.

Not sure honestly. I know what it cost in parts to put it together...but even if the labor is free I don't know if anyone would want to pay the parts prices. Really just trying to see if the interest is there. If people are still wanting to assemble these. Nik was like 2600 with machining/finishing and a set of pistons was 2800. all new bearings including the crank bearings, the crank verification and the rod work was another 1500 at least. So over 7k went into it and that not including any time or the original cost of the block and crank lol. Too much money imo, but maybe someone out there has all the dressings they just wanna bolt on and go?

Just for info I bought a virgin block (re-nikked), heads, crank, basically everything EXCEPT pistons, rods, horn and ECU, for $2800. Added CRT pistons, Chatfield rods, and a horn. Had it built with new bearings, rings, etc. Used my old ECU. Ended up with right at $10K in the powerhead. Just about got it broken in, should wind up the break in tomorrow.

Did you ever come up with a price for this?
