Merc 2.5 where to connect the tach sender

Standard Mercury tach, battery, ground and sender. Could somebody send a picture of the location that the tach sender wire hooks up to?

gray wire, pretty sure.

Grey wire at the voltage regulator.

it is counting alternator pulses.

Should be in the factory mercury harness at the remote control, or near the ignition switch.

Or if you have a rectifier not regulators then you hook it up to either yellow wire on the rectifier. Just piggy back it.
