300x horn going off

my 300x 2002 went off solid after a 10 minute run it quite once as well think its oil problem just bolted in on the marina left the hose on crank case with out a clamp on it how do i bleed the lines thanks folks steve berry

the horn went off 4 beeps when i started it again horn went solid beep i think its oil sensor or air lock????? thanks steve

Solid unbroken tone, is overheat,... on all the older stuff.

My engines have been known to stick the thermostats, if they haven't run in the last 6 months.

Edit. After further review, evedentally mercury changed their alarm tone, about this time in history.

The crankcase check valve that pressurizes the tank in the boat goes bad after a while and won't push oil to the tank on the engine. I have changed mine several times.
