Anyone know where to find the small gage for testing the bottom cylinder on Mercury inlines?

Anyone know where to find the small gage for testing the bottom cylinder on Mercury inlines?
most of us use a hole saw in the lower pan that way it is easy can use plastic plug or metal plug at least what i did years ago jim45157

Do you have the flexible hose on your compression gage, you can just bend it around?? My gage has a rubber hose that quick disconnects, just thread it in.

Ain't no way that gage is going to fit into the bottom hole.

It does. Its smaller than it looks. Thats what mercury made it for. I have 3. I used one yesterday on a 1976 1500 I-6. It had good compression on all 6!

BINGO!! That's what I was looking for! Used to have one with the old Mercury logo on it. As soon as I buy this one it will reappear.

I can hear a weak cly.......back in 1981....jetted down to save $$$$.......just don't load the motor........also ran 27 +.......leadtime.....1981.....V6s were out and they were giving L6s away.... so I built them to the limit..... if they blew.....who cared........:p.....18 foot Jetmate..... OBI .beer runnner......:cheers:.... The case of beer lasted 5 min after dockin'.........Good Dazzzz....
