I saw something on another site about a mod for a 1989 (I think) 200 where he put a V4 flywheel on it with a different timer base and stator? Anyone familiar with this idea and what the advantage might be? Lighter flywheel I assume, but how do you get it to work?
Are there any threads on here about it? searched but didnt see anything...Of course I am in the proverbial hunt for more speed on a 1986 Baja sunsport 200 with a 225. Adjustable Jack plate, 4" setback. It tops about 58...would love to get to mid 60s.. (Dreaming?) I still have to get the Tach fixed..not sure what RPM is running, 21" stainless prop.. BTW, already put 2.7 heads from my old 200XP and jetted carbs.. Working on Carson Reeds but not expecting much for top end...
