Horn vacuum fittings getting stopped up on 280

Have a 2001 280 and the two vacuum fittings on the horn get stopped more often than I Think they should. I run Mercury racing oil at 40 to 1. Any suggestions on why this is happening?

Run wide open more

Check your reeds if the horn gets that much gunk often may have some bad reeds.
