I was too busy with a boat with a hole in it. :( 120 was a barrel rolling contest. I heard all kinds of things about John. BK would be in the know better, but it's not real good. A broken vertebre, something about his spleen and the worst thing about no feeling in his legs. I heard the ooo's when he barrel rolled then the whack of Pete hitting him. What do you do when your committed to the corner and all of the sudden there is a boat sitting there sideways? The two boats had to be pulled apart, then they pulled John back to the ramp where the boat was cut away from him. He's at one of the best hospitals in Mid-Michigan. That's all the info I can offer.:(

I was there guys & seen Gordi flip. I was on the Vets park bridge side in my 19' Eliminator Daytona & had the Bimini top up due to the heat out there. I did take a cruise thru before the last race on Sunday, wish I could have stopped to say hi but Im sure you were to busy to "chat". Take care.

it was looking promising for a while. Driver error, tried to make a pass that should take two or three laps to make all in one corner. Any pictures you guys have, please post and forward to me if it's not too much trouble. Hey Captain, sorry I couldn't chat a little more, that's a pretty busy time for me. Next year try to look me up on Friday if possible. Good to see you again though.

We needed some more ponies. Too bad my drag mota would'nt have passed tech;) . Good pics JM, I found a new reverse bearing in a box of my stuff, we'll change it out. I had a blast up there even though I was dead tired. A bit suprised at how low the speeds for qualifying were down the straight, 36 cc heads though:rolleyes:

Gordie may have had a rough weekend......

......... but he's still a big winner since he's got this adorable angel waiting for him at the ramp........

Good job Gordi you were running really well and it was a bad deal to flip but that area by the vets bridge sure seamed to give you guys a hassle. Driver error or not your kahonies are still bigger than mine and I wouldnt be out there. Godd job anyways it was a blast to see you run. Hey any pics of the Daytona would be appreciated too, its always nice to get different angles of your boat from a different pair of eyes other than your own.

Hey man thanks for the pictures Im really happy you took a few. I have never watched the river roar from the water and its a good time. I still wished I would have stopped & said hi but sometime in the future I guess. Its really funny since I bought this boat it really does seam to draw attention in this area and you dont see that many, which I kinda like. I really dont care that its the fastest around but do like the comments and questions I get. Thanks again for the great photos and maybe next year Gordi will kick some ass, and we will be there. Beauitful Daughter Gordi, god bless you & family.

I was @ the race all day Sunday & was looking around for you but NO LUCK (Hooters side) . Gordie Miller looked very strong & was holding a solid 4th/5th until the roll over. Sorry to see the DNF Gordie.........you looked GREAT & glad you're OK. Scott :D
