I'm looking to replace my pair of 250EFI XL downdraft motors with a new set of Mercury 4 stroke 250XLs (250CXL) to improve my range. I plan to restore the boat at the same time so it a big project and I don't need the new motors this minute. I'm willing to travel as much as 500-600 miles ( from SE Virginia) for the right deal. As expensive as the motors are, I thought I should shop for a good price with a reputable dealer and thought this would be a good place to start. I've found the S&F to be the best source of Mercury outboard related information. Thanks in advance.

I have actually dealt with Jacos and it was a good experience. They are at the top of my list now and was curious if there were others that might be as good. Thanks for the reply.

You might want to check with Z06 Man here on the board. He is tied in with a dealer that treats people right as well.
