CT River Run, In October. Keep an eye on "Gatherings" section. Rich Owen is one of the organizers of the get together. Lots of fun and lots of boats.

liopa is having a ct river run july 12 any 1 know a good place to launch?

what type of boat do you have? these guys are crossing the LI sound to get there. I dont think I'll be doing that in my stv. that sound can really turn on you. The conneticut guys have a river run in october thats alot of fun which is mostly smaller boats. they meet up at Haddam meadows state park in conneticut. I think its about 15 miles north of the sound right on the west bank of the river. Maybe you could launch there in july and wait for the LI pack to come to you. just a thought
