I have an old 2007 250 ProXS that is set up with regular mercury gauges. Is this stuff compatible with this year motor? Is this everything needed to convert to smart craft? What gauge functions can be displayed on the monitor and what are the dimensions of the monitor?

Also what part of California are you in?

Yes should plug right in. Everything is there to plug in with SmartCraft. Here’s the factory information on the monitor from Mercury.

SmartCraft SC1000 System Monitor: delivers an alarm on battery, water pressure and oil pressure. May provide additional information on fuel consumption, fuel range, engine hours, coolant temperature and engine trim depending on engine type and its sensors. Requires an approximate 2 1/8" Dia. cutout. Connects with (1) 10-Spade SmartCraft connection.

Also comes with separate gauges for trim and water pressure. Other gauges can also be added plugging into the SmartCraft harness and junction box.

OK, so it’s a round screen? Is it supposed to replace the Tach or the Speedo and do dual function of that gauge and the smart craft info? Then I would still need either Speedo or Tach and also a Fuel level gauge.

Does this sound right?
