boat is mirage rr with drag,sporty,1.87,1450#s with me in it,21cc heads, splitshaft is 2.25"above bottom.will be rope racing and looking for every bit of lower et.run authentic yamy24 now, which seems to leave good now,but it is done at 9600@100mph.has anyone run this combo with 22 lightnin et?i really think more pitch wiill hurt my et.trying to get boat to run ten flat without naws (this is going to take some ultimate tuning).boat handles real bad if i lower propshaft any lower.on a real good air day it might pull9700 but that is pushin it

with a Hackney 24 yamaha clone. Complete rig with me in it was about 100lbs lighter, MPH was just a little more, RPM was around 9500 but could never get the boat to the bottom of the 10's. Not sayin' it can't be done. I finally gave up on it and bought a 1/4 Master. My experience with the E.T.'s on the River Racer was it made the boat too flighty. Good Luck

word has it u can modify tips of ET,s to control flightyness.when you tryed 22 et ,did it leave as hard as your 24 yamy copy?i have heard 22 et will possibly bite to hard causing slight motor bog, hence some lost elapsed time?

Hard out of the hole but it had to much lift after mid track. Never had any problem with it bogging the motor. Keep me informed on your progress.

2:1 with a 22 ET do the job better ?

I don't think so not in a 1/4 mile. Might be OK for Blarney.
