2005 Yamaha 60 rev limiter & 70 mods

Can’t find anything on how to disable the limiter on this motor didn’t know if it was built in the cdi or what. Also if anyone knows if the carbs are the only difference in this motor and a 70 that would be helpful. Have looked at parts lists and compared and it seems to be the case but wanted to double check to make sure it would be worth the time to get a set. TIA

The pink wire coming from the cdi ign module.Disconnect it then no limiter but also no oil or overheat warnings either.

Check exhaust tuner, I think they are different also. Hydrotec is your best resource for Yamaha hipo parts.

Thanks for the help. Was looking at hydro tech but seemed a little steep don’t plan on racing it just playing around an i think 70 hp will be enough for my fastcraft
