There are some rumors coming across the Atlantic to us in Norway that Mercury soon will release Pro XS V8 350 and 400 hp engines. Any ideas?

I have a 300R, but have not heard those rumors yet. I would not be surprised if they released a 350 Pro XS V8. Probably relatively easy for them to do, especially if they switch to higher octane fuel requirement. A 400 Pro XS would allow them to phase out the 400R I suppose? However, it might require a supercharger ( like a detuned version of the 450R)? If it was naturally aspirated using 91+ Octane, it might infringe on current 450R sales. All interesting scenarios, some of which we all know will eventually appear.
