UFlex / Seastar Hoses

Are the UFlex 1500 PSI hoses the same as the Seastar Pro hoses? Seems like the PSI rating is the same, I don't see anywhere that the UFlex hoses are "reinforced" like the Seastar...how are they compared by quality? And are the fitting sizes the same?

Looks like Uflex has better availability on the shorter hoses (less then 14 foot) as I can find those everywhere including eBay...

the Uflex UC130 connected right to sea star hose fittings; my opinion, the uflex are equal or better. boatstreer.com is great, hodgesmarine.com as well.

Had some custom 1500psi seastar (pro) hoses made up with bulkhead fittings
Very nice quality bulkhead fittings, black anodized aluminum with high quality plastic, adjustable gland connectors.

I was originally going to use the stand alone bulkhead fittings from seastar, it's a threaded brass piece with two npt to hose fittings on each end...
So my thought was to get some short hoses for off the transom to the engine....
That bulkhead fitting was such a mess to install because of how to tighten the fittings on (with pipe sealant too nonetheless)
I felt more connections of those type was too much of a liability

So I ended up with two 15 foot pro hoses with built in bulkhead fittings, it looks great and I have some piece of mind it's one solid hose without any junk "through hull fittings"

In case anyone has the same "issue"
