What solenoids you use on your setup?

quite honestly, we just ran cheap old Ford solenoids. We triggered them off of 12 V but then we passed 24 V or 36 V through them. It was never a problem. We also used the Bob’s pump. Worked just fine on two seasons of drag racing in an Allison.

I have seen 24V starter solenoids at auto parts stores, would those work just as well and only 30 bucks or so.

24v and 36v solenoids won’t work. You need 24v to activate them also….and you’ve got 12v. Been there, tried that…..learned the hard way lol.
