This should have been my last week of boating for the season and the weather has been great. Pretty warm for this time of year and calm. But my 200XS would not start. And then all the electrics went dead. Nav lights, bilge pump, trim, nothing works. I borrowed a neighbor's tin boat and towed it to the nearest marina where I rented a slip for the night. We pulled it out this morning, so it's off for repair next. I think that was the first time my SS2000 has spent a night on the water.
On the positive side, one of my car clubs had a fall color tour drive today. At our picnic lunch I saw my first Triad 21. Nice looking ride. The color tour drive was great and included a charter tour on a large lake vessel.

Damn, that's a nice looking boat. In the first pic, I Wouldn't have pegged for an Allison though until I saw the classic Allison nose in the second.
I'd want to get her going again ASAP. If the whole thing is electrically dead, then maybe it will turn out to be something simple. Fingers crossed.

I think that guy just purchased that Triad from another canada fella this summer. It's a nice looking boat for sure, I like the colors on it. Especially the pink.

Just to be clear, the boat in the slip with the cover on it is my SS2000, waiting overnight to be trailered. I spoke to the man with the Triad. He just bought it this year from Nova Scotia. 45 hour 280 for power.
I'm in Savannah and our fall boating season is just starting. It last almost to Christmas. Cool, crisp days in the 80s. Took the wife out laste Sunday in theTriad and road up the ICW towards Hilton head. Not many people were out that day. I guess the economy and the price of fuel is a factor. I paid 5.40 a gallon at the marina for fuel.510812[ATT
