volt regs 40 amp system

guys 1993 2.5 200 hp v6 carbs twinn volt regs 40 amp system question is should i be running on both regs hooked to all wires from stator or is running on a single set up ok or suitable to charge battery also i keep blowing volt regs useing the dual system hook up not sure here thanks for help

Do you have two pairs of yellow wires or just one pair of yellow wires?

Hook up two of the 20 amp rec/reps. Those are two independent (kinda) 20 amp circuits. Need to run both pairs and two regs
