Has anyone used a 14x23 Yamaha drag prop on Yamaha 115TLRW 2 Stroke. I’m looking for a good prop for my setup. The boat is 16’ SeaSprite, hull bottom is similar to Hydrostream Vector, has pad.
Thanks
Real Drags are 20/22/24/26/28 great props on light hulls with V4's
My favorite was a 20 on my Ally 2002 with a 115 Johnson

Thanks that’s great advice. My boat is very light and I turn an aluminum Yamaha 13x25,,, good hole shot and at wot 5300rpms running around 55mph. I’m trying to decide on Yamaha drag pitch 20, 22, or 24. I’d like to decent hole shot and reach 60mph top end without exceeding around 5700rpms. Any further advice is appreciated.

I run a 92 115 on a 15 ft glasstream bass boat, which to my understanding is also very similar to a hydrostream bottom. It managed to just barely touch 61mph at 6300rpm with a 22p Yamaha drag I borrowed. Ireally thought the boat wanted just a little bit more bow lift though. I also tried a laser II 22p and ran almost exactly the same speed and rpm, but I liked the attitude of the boat better.

have you tried a SRX 13 3/4 x 23?
