Curious?
What is the cost to re-nic a cylinder?

When I asked US Chrome about it last year, it was all or nothing. They can't just do one. It was about $650. That may have changed though.......................

The $650.00 that Burke sitedis correct for all 6 bores. Most of the time I have just one done I have a bad sleeve that has damage and must be replaced and Hensley does them for me and he uses US Chrome for plating and honeing .He gets $500.00 for a damaged sleeve to be put back in factory coating and size as was original and is as good as I have found bar none.........
just my findings,
PS If you do deside to send a block to be replated ALL Carbon Steel MUST be removed from the block such as dowels, line up head pins, plugs ETC as the chemical process of stripping and etching the bores will turn a good block line up pin intowhat looks like a VERY rotten tooth and render it unusable ! ( Food for thought )
