Replacement motor for CMC jackplate?

Who sells replacement motors for the CMC jackplates? Is it true these are just Mercruiser trim pump motors? Any instructions on how to replace one?:confused:

I had one that went bad, they told me it would cost $400+ depending on the year.I picked up a used merc trim pump for $75 and braded hoses for $80.Dosent go up under power but works fine other wise my pump may be weak but my bobs does go up with a V8 under power.:cool:

If you decide to go nearly new, I'm selling my cmc. Used very little. I sold my old CMC with the motor on the outside of the brackets and its still strong. But I have heard those motors are expensive.
