can someone help me with info on these.
i need some pages of a service manual or any advice anyone has on building / repairing these gearboxes.:confused:

I assume your talking about what I know as a #6 speedmaster, if so and you've done production gearcases, multiply it by about 8 and you will have the complexity of a #6. They, in my opion are extremely difficult and time consuming to do, to the point I wont do them for a customer. But if your good with gearcases and like an adventure take a shot. The manuals should be available from merc. If I have a customer asking me what to do I suggest they send it to someone, you will be money ahead. Hope this helps.

I don't have the manual but you can get one from Merc for around $35. They also have a kit of special tools for the VI that is $3,500.
