Replaced stringers in years gone by on my Wellcraft Nova, but that whole project convinced me that Andy and Fiberglass do not mix....
Today while out, I had a mishap, and ended up slamming the starboard side of my boat into a bridge piling... End result is a 8 wide puncture/crack in the outer portion of the hull (not a hole really, just hit it hard enough to tear the fiberglass apart from each other), along with half a dozen 2 foot scratches in the gelcoat.....
I know that it is tough, without images, to guesstimate, but what sort of ballpark should I expect to have to pay the local fiberglass gods to fix it ?
