Pro Max Oil Injection

Does anyone know how much the Mercury 2.5 Pro Max oil injection system weighs? If it is removed from the motor during rebuild, what is the common weight reduction for the engine?

I would guess no more than a pound if tank was full. Maybe two.

It doesn’t matter what it weighs, remove it or your motor will eat itself up. Black boxes and oil injection delete always. I wish I didn’t know why
