I installed a Zeiger 7" tilt helm, a CharLynn valve and a 1st generation Verado power steering pump in my Cougar 22MTR. I removed the Capilano 1275V helm but kept the Marine Machine steering cylinders and hoses. The pump kit came with 2 bottles of Mercury fluid but I am not sure if that is the right fluid or not. I have not drained out the original fluid that is in it and I am not sure what it is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
