Beware what sort of pets your wife has!
I'd just re-wired my trailer lights the night before, took off to the lake the next day in a mad rush,
and Sha-Zam!! the starboard side didn't work.
I knew I'd done them to perfection.
New lights & wires.
All connections were soldered & taped.
I'd tested them and they worked perfect.
Going to the lake, I could see in the mirror of the truck that the starboard brake light didn't come on.
It was a real head scratcher until the wife showed me this picture.

I have a suggestion for you as to what to do with the animal, but first a question.
What does Goat taste like?

No but I got a cat that eats wires...you know power cords (lights computers etc..) spark plug wires (weed blower, POWER HEAD) anything of that sort. Wife wont let me give him one still plugged in....How it hasnt juiced himself and burned the apartment down yet I dont know....

My dog thought the harness was a nice playtoy. Imagine coming out to take the boat out and there is no plug, scratch your head what could have happened and where did it go?
Figured it out and started stuffing it up so it wasn't a loose dangle toy.
You need a fencing like deal around the boat. The wiring is only part of the problem, the deck hoofing is another. That plastic fencing could be wrapped around it without any work and taken down with no problem or cost.

I'm not sure, but I think they taste like chicken.
Sometimes I do get agrivated enough at the little beast to find out.

Don't worry yourself to death with crazy people.
Pretty soon, you'll be dead, and they'll still be crazy.

Goat is very tough, very stringy. You could survive on it if you had to!
Anything with square pupils has to be evil!
They do keep the grass down though.

Seeing as we're om the topic of animal cullinary tastes, I have a story of my own.
Several years ago my brother and I were water skiing and we had my dog on board with us. My brother had a ski and climed back on board and I got ready.
I grabbed the handle to the roap and jumped in. I yelled out to my brother to go and he did so leaving me behind alone in the water confused and wondering why I wasn't following him.
A quick look a few minutes later showed a frayed and broken roap near the boat end.
As we were wondering what caused it the dog started hacking and coughing and puked up enough strands to solve the mystery.
I don't know how the little ba@#$*rd did it, but he chewed through the roap in no more than a couple of minutes and managed not to get caught at the same time.
If he hadn't puked up the evidence he would have got away with the whole deal.
Cheers

I had a pet squirrel that would get behing the stereo and chew the RCA chords, also loved beer.........and buds!
I also had ferrets that loved the foam beer huggers, if you couldn't find one anywhere, just look under the couch, there were tons of them under there, also thats where all the missing socks were!
I came in from work one day, opened up a cold one, put it in a hugger, set it on the coffie table, turned around to turn on the stereo, and heard........thud, sssppppsssshhhh, there went the ferret with my new cold beer pouring out on the carpet as he headed for under the couch!

Yes Sir, it is.
Its just a box-stock 78 Merc 50 4 cyl.
I have a couple pictures of the boat posted under the thread here on the 'tech.' forum
about dumb mechanic stories from a few days ago.
They aren't real good, I took them in the driveway when the goat was trying to drive it.
She hops up on the deck and climbs all over it when I'm out tinkering with it.
