You did not state which mocel 'stream you have??
When I am flynnnn my 91 V-king I trim it out to break the
hull free of the water as speed increases I trim it in
to a level position. """ remember the propshaft is
designed to push the boat forward {not up}. With the
right prop ,balence ,height and safe rigging your speed
should be best when the propshaft is paralell with the
surface of the water you are flyinnnn over.

""I've just recently came across a mashed up V-king
because too much trim."""

Hope this helps. Jeff.

My VegasXT needs positive trim to keep the bow up. I jack it up, trim the hell out of it, and floor it to get it up on the pad, but if I try to trim it back neutral, the hull bites in and slows down. I'm using a L&S hydraulic jackplate (6"), 28 chopper, hydromotive nosecone. Why do I need so much positive trim? -Chad

Pyro,

It's just my thinking but I would add more setback.
I would go at least 10".

Just my opinion. Hopefully a Vegas owner will help-out.

Jeff.
