Maybe they are all pre sold. This is from their Facebook page. Owning the first 20' would work for me

When that new 20 gets released with a 300R its sure to be a weapon in the V category.

Pretty sure Tuff said they won't put a 300R on the new 20, just like no 400 or 450 on their 24

I wonder hull for hull same power how the 20 would run against a Vking?

Or an Allison Grandsport ???

They are all sold, and for the next 4 years. Wait list. The 24 is faster than a grandsport, and a v-king. The new 20 will be A LOT quicker.

Tuffs are awesome, no doubt about it. I wasn’t trying to suggest anything less. Merely wondered how the 20 would run with identical power against a vking is all. Probably never find out unless someone stuffs a 225 promax on one lol

Are you talking with the same power vs XS2003 and Viking ?

What did the Tuff 24 run with a 300R? was it 114 mph? That would be hard to match in a Grandsport. I would not put a 300R on a Grandsport or a Vking.

Curious if they will go with a 1.60 Sporty on this build... Been waiting for someone to try this and see if it'll work as a "performance" motor. Could be a great combo. ;)
And yeah, not sure I'd recommend a 300R on a GS either. There was a new one with a 300R setup, but didn't stay that way and never had any numbers...my guess is that it didn't like it.

Blake went 118 with his 24 with a 300xs. Too bad these new motors are so heavy!

200, 225, 250, 300 Pro XS are dimensionally the same: 505 lb dry, 1.75 gears.
If 505 lb is too much, the 175 XS is 470 lb, 1.85 gears
Next up is the 150 Pro XS. 456 lb dry, 2.08 gears. 80 plus or minus on a Grandsport. My brother just bought a Grandsport with a 150 HO Etec. He will have fun. My guess is that if anyone put a 150 on the Tuff 20 it would run with the Grandsport.
Yamahas are no lighter. 200-250 are all 505 lb dry. 175 is 480 lb dry
I am very curious to see how the first Tuff 20 is powered. 18-20 is my ideal size, and nothing beats a 200XS for my use

The V6's (175, 200, 225 non ProXS) are 475 according to Mercury's website and the midsections are the same as the V8 (CMS version)

Correct about the non Pro XS V6 engines. But I would want the solid mounts

Sometimes when I'm bored, I run thru the Mercury Parts Catalog... Lol. Anyway, according to this, they all have the same upper and lower mount part numbers. Doesn't go to "solid" until the 300R.

Saving up for a CC or tritoon. Year round boating sounds pretty tempting.
