Alligator Gar was caught in Kansas, a rarity for that region.
39.5 pounds of teeth and body.

Has anyone eaten a Gar fish?

Yikes! That bass looks like it belongs in the amazon river. Look at the forehead on that thing.

We used to catch Gar Fish here on the Madison chain when we were kids. The one we taste tested was about 30" long. Not Very Good.
