Interested in the 3 1 3/8 and possibly some 1 5/6. Is there any functional difference between the metal and plastic bowls?

Get the metal bowls with the 2 plugs in the bowl on each side for the intermediate and main jets (if you get the bowl with the one plug on each side of the bowl you can change the main jets while on the engine, but to change the intermediate jet you have to remove the bowls). You will not see much change from 1 3/8 VS 1 5/16 carbs in my opinion.
His first picture is the 1 3/8 carbs and has the metal bowls with 4 plugs for intermediate and main jet changes without having to pull the carbs off the motor.
plastic bowls can warp and leak is the issue.
