Hello,
I'm looking for some advice on a Johnson 225 Venom power head. I have a J225STLECS that the oil reservoir ran out of oil so the power head is done. It did not lock up but making a growling noise when turning over. I have checked around to see if there is an available remanned power heads out there but they are hard to find plus can you trust the person that has it. I even looked at a repower but nobody has any outboards available. I would be interested in someone rebuilding the current one if it was someone that can be trusted. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm located in SC.
