1997 175 efi hard to start cold

Got a 97 175 efi thats hard to get started initially. Will barely start after a couple tries and occasionally die in the process. After i get it started and it warms up it runs great. Can then shut off motor and re starts easily. Any ideas?

Check the Throttle Position Sensor setting at idle; there's a min - max range. You can adjust this setting for idle mixture. Sound's like you're on the lean side. Find a shop manual to provide the details.
