Had a fuel injector with reduced flow cause a lean which melted a a clean hole in my number 3 cylinder. Through out the number three fuel injector. Also through out the number 1 air injector which was occasionally sticking closed when I bench tested for flow so don't worry you wont be getting the issue parts of my engine.
Engine ran fine after number 3 lost all compression and was only being powered by other 5 cylinders.
Saltwater motor but corrosion isn't bad and not much damaged. Snapped one bolt for the lower bearing carrier(threads still in block) everything else came apart easy enough.
Just took it apart, crankshaft and everything looks in amazing shape perfect bearing journals bearings look great. Number 3 cylinder looks great with a little melted aluminum on the sleeve but I bet it can be cleaned up(i really doubt it needs to be bored but I haven't measured it).
Let me know what you are interested in I'll send you pics and undercut the lowest ebay prices by 30%. I have brand new ignition coils, alternator, plug wires, plugs and a never installed low pressure fuel pump and a spare 2009 ecu, things i bought as I was diagnosing. Also have a bunch of older ignition coils that are perfectly fine.
