What color is the tach lead for a 65HP merc?

this is not my mota but a friends and im guessing ita a late 90's version if not 2001. if you can post a schematic that would help us out alot!!

Not sure they made a 65 then.gray is newest old was brown.If the rectificer has got the wires hooked up look there not + termal,usually yellow good luck:D
