Replaced a blown up Bridgeport with this motor . With the expert help of a couple of guys here . Ran great . Fuel pump gaskets were leaking so a kit was ordered and was put on . Now I know everyone will say the thing wasn’t put together wrong . Has been off and replaced more than a few times . Any diagrams any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Post pics of your setup. Very important to have the right type and length of pulse line from crankcase to pump. Check and clean check valve in this line. Make sure all connections are tight.

Ordered the parts to put in an electric fuel pump . After several attempts to correct it. As well as not much fishing . Will post before and after photos .

Yes it was . Just fuel coming out of the pump . So ordered the parts you had talked about . Will be here tomorrow. Took heads off and got them cleaned up . Only took .005 off . Replaced head gaskets. If for some reason this goes south . Have a 2015 with a little over 4 hrs on her . 150 EFI merc .

Got the pump and relay put on . Ran with no leaks . Now the bottom carb on port side has fuel pouring out of it . Do I need a regulator? Or clean carbs ?

I would guess get a cheap reg and get it down to 3.5 lbs and you will be good, if still leaking that one needle is not seating.

any auto parts store has Mr Gasket ones, they work well if you have a psi gauge to set it.

Do yourself a favor and replace those 25 year old needles and seats....that’ll help a ton.

Needles and seats are my vote. They should never leak. Also, if the fuel filter is old or dirty would be good to replace that at the same time. I assume your fuel does not have junk in it.

I just started running an inline fuel pump, and I notice better starting and stronger idle. Also don't have to pump the ball ever. Needles have to be in good shape though. I used a Carter, but that Edelbrock looks like a good choice. Probably I'll try that on my other boat.

Thanks to all who helped me the last few years . This place sure has changed. Having issues posting pictures and or vids. Got her running well . Put the pump and relay as well as serviced the carbs . WH-22 ‘s . Well those needles and seats are not easy to find . So ordered what they called for . Took carbs apart . And won’t bore y’all . But the ones that are in now are nowhere near the old ones . Put a regulator on as well . She is flying! Thank you
