Gonna test it this week to make sure it is worthy when I derig Forkin' Crazy. Once I get the motor on the stand I will pull the flywheel to lap it. Ought to be a good test.:D

Thanks for the reply, Barry. I am thinking $75 bucks.

Maybe a little cheaper. I think I am going to have to shorten this one inbetween .100 and .200 ". I will know when my engine stands are ready and pull the motor off.
Racer, what do you think?

Are you planning to make a batch or just one at a time? $75 seems a bit stiff but probably what you would need to make it worth the time to machine them manually.

That's what I was wanting. Some input. I was just throwing a price in the air. I don't want to screw anyone, but it has to be worth my while. If I can have 5 made at once, I could drop the price, like to $65 to your door, but I don't want to get stuck with extras. I am already out what it cost to do the machine work on the prototype, but I needed one really bad. I don't like using just two bolts to pull the wheel. And then you have to put a stock wheel on it to lift the motor. I will let you know after I have tried it and we'll go from there.
Thanks again,
Paul
BTW are we the only ones that have these? Geeze!

This is a nice little lathe project but the time adds up if you have to pay someone. Count me out on this one, I prefer to make my own. Been neglecting a friendship with the guy I borrow the lathe from anyway!

Oh well, that's it, I guess. I'll X that project. After what it would cost me I would only make about 10 bucks after shipping, and that's at best...LOL. At least I have one....
This turning out like my seat project did. Guess I'll stick with farming....anyone want to buy any corn or soybeans..... or maybe some cotton? LOL!;)
