1998 300 promax - oil leak?

I recently did a heat cycle with sea foam to try and clean out the carbon build up, etc. After running the motor on the hose I noticed what looks like to be oil seeping out between the mid and lower right where the tuner opening is. Could this just be excess build up within the mid running down now.
Motor runs fine. Plugs are perfect. Just wondering where this oil could be coming from?

Have you changed the lower oil lately? I've encountered a similar problem on my merc, the oil on mine turned out to be a small amount of gear oil. I changed it out when it was a bit chilly (by Florida standards) and when we started getting those 100° days, that's when I noticed it. The fluid expansion pushed it out of my shift shift seal.....I learned two things from that, to leave enough expansion room for oil and that I had a seal going bad
