Looks sleeved. I used a 2.4 Wiseco and filed a flat for the bridge. Worked great, especially if it's oversized.

Might be an illusion but it looks like there might be a separation between the sleeve and the register(aluminum around the sleeve).Check carefully, this is usually caused by an overheat, and will quickly fail again because the heat cannot be transfered through the gap.The remedy is an oversized sleeve,a machine shop job,Chris

Yeah the sleeve does look separated to me. I have those pistons if you need one or 2...tell me what weight you are looking for and I will try to find a close one.

BTW the piston with that stamp that looks like a stick shift diagram is a MAHLE piston.

Hi sorry for late response but yes my piston is a Mahle forged piston. STD bore it might need 015 over what sizes do you have?

2 MAHLE pistons (1 prt and 1 stbd) went out to you today with 3 impellers, a wear plate and a couple water pump gaskets in case you need them.

Best of luck getting your pop's motor back going again and I would take a careful look at where that sleeve meets the block (what was mentioned in an above comment). i know you mentioned re-sleeving in our phone conversation and that will be absolutely necessary if you found that sleeve over heated and separated from the block.
