hello fellas i just bought a 1994 19' reaction it currently has a 1998 225 mercury im looking to repower but was wondering what the best set up would be to be in the high 70s new to these types of boats so i dont really know much was wondering what should i repower to and also jack plate, good props etc etc... i appreciate you're help!

whats wrong with what you already have ? if your new to this type hull you cerntally not going to go "plug n play" . it's a handfull for an experinced driver no matter what power is on it. what you have is plenty to get you in a bad situation in a friekin hurry. run what you have got and when you feel like you have that mastered start looking around, more is not neccisaraly ( pardon the keyboard mistakes spelling wise ) better , that is a good balance power to weight right now, more will overwhelm you before your ready. fun out

well I’m on getting about 45 and there’s something wrong with the motor it has a miss fire like if it missing fuel for a split second but I already changed the entire fuel system I also want to switch from a carborated motor to a fuel injected just feel like it could be less of a head ache I also want to switch my jack plate from a manual jack plate to a hydraulic one, I plan on enjoying the boat for the summer and then re enforcing the transom and re powering in the winter

take it to Chris Carson in key largo , guarontee he can straighten it out for you , Carson marine , I'll get his mile marker and post it :thumbsup:

Just looked him up I’ll shoot him a call this week see if he can get me dialed in, thank you I appreciate the help!
