What plugs are you 280 guys running? I didnt have much luck with the stock champions. I have been running different NGK's. It seems like I foul one every 3 or 4 tanks of gas. Anyone trying anything new like the iridium Denso's?

Last year I ran denso #W27FS-U10. This was an injected 2.4 BP.They seemed to work well and cheaper than ngk's. Hope this helps.

I have some pretty long no wake zones. My old carb 2.5 never fouled a plug but this new EFI seems to be real picky. Why did Merc do away with the old surface gap style plug on these new engines? Thanks for the reply's.

Jmc, if your plugs get fouled, try the next hotter plug.
