I put a new Tygon hose between top and bottom barbs on main bearings, only see a slight "mist" in the hose.
Should it be full of fuel/oil, or only the mist I see??

The mist is fine. It doesn't take much to oil the upper bearing.

Now why didn't you just make one post? I gotta make two answers.:p Just be glad that is not water in that oil line.:) Pull off the top end and try suck and then see if you can blow into the hose. The check valve should only let it flow to the top. Also, if you press the top seal into the top main bearing it will restict the oil.:( You can check that out by blowing into the top nippel or the hose. I hope this can help you.

I have had.....2? top mains go out in the past.
I did check both of the one way check valves, the top is blow-no suck, and the bottom is suck-no blow.
That sounds good, right?
