A former NFL player who won an iconic Super Bowl alongside Joe Namath, drowned during a professional fishing tournament in Texas, officials say.
Pete Lammons (https://majorleaguefishing.com/press-releases/identity-of-co-angler-who-died-in-accident-at-mlf-series-event-on-sam-rayburn-released/) Jr. died Thursday, after he fell overboard during a Major League Fishing tournament at Sam Rayburn Reservoir in East Texas, officials say. He was 77.
The boat was not running when Lammons fell into the water about 10 a.m. Thursday during the Major League Fishing Toyota Series. His fellow boater was unsuccessful in rescuing him, officials say. (Yahoo News).

I will suspect hypothermia (in the cold water) without a life jacket on.
It is sad to report, however safety measures need to be practiced.

I'm not thinking hypthermia. Might have been a heart attack. The water is not very cold out here now. We've been in the 80's. Sucks regardless. Sad.
