I am having trouble with the geared actuator that operates the varibale pitch function.
If anyone has encountered any issues with the Azipod Prop Systems failure to feather the props please let me know!
I may have to overhaul the prop system this weekend! :(
Engine configuration is as follows:
6 x Wärtsilä 12 V 38, 7,920 kW, 600 rpm

I was thinking maybe I could switch to the lighter Ulstein Aquamaster model-35 azimuth thrusters.
They are beautifully engineered! ;)
Use this link to review the technology:

Looks like a nice set up. I'm not sure the model 35 can handle the kind of rpm's you run so you should probably just rebuild. I'll check in the shed to see if I have any of the parts you'll need, if so I'll make you a great deal. I don't have use for this stuff anymore since I switched hulls.

LOL -
Thank you for the kind gesture you are willing to demonstrate regarding the rebuild.
I would prefer overnight delivery of all parts under 70 Gross
Tons please.
I don't mind paying the shipping on this if your amenable to
bringing the part to UPS for me ;)
PS: Here's another one of my older hull transoms for reference on what I might need for upgrades.
;) Cheers!

IIRC, Bob's Machine is working on an improved nose cone and blowout ring setup for the trusty old 35. It should take care of the problems most have encountered with it in stock form.
You should send those props out to be worked. Maybe have them done up as ET clones

Once you get all those mods done, you can get to work crafting up a pad for the bottom of that thing; get some real speed out of it then:D
Maybe some setback...

Dear P Man:
No I don't work with them but I do think that they are SUPER

I wish I worked with them. They are really wicked looking and
supreme!
Cheers.:p :D
