SeaStar on 2.5

What has to be done to attach a SeaStar Cylinder to a 93 2.5EFI..The cylinder hits the pan when turned..I looked on their websight and the note says extensive cowling modification required..I hate to cut this pan up if I dont have too, and I dont want to modifiy the steering either..

jerry thinks you are out of your mind running front mount steering on that boat at those speeds ,jerry would rather see yuo run a side mount setup , yes it cost alot but so does a broken neck . good luck my fine feathered little friend ....

Thanks Jerry..( I think):rolleyes: Its not on my boat..Its on a friends boat, but it is also a Mirage..I agree it would be much safer with the side mount..It had a 2.5 on it previously but with a different cowling on it and had no problems with the steering..There are many other boats running around here with this setup ,but I just never thought about looking at one the last time I was out to see how it was connected or cut..
