I picked up a torque master gearcase on e-bay torqued my Trophy to 60 ft pounds ran it then came in to find the prop was loose Tried with re 3 did the same thing(new thrust,nut,tab washer)WHAT THE ???

Could be tha prop shaft or tha input shaft...Sumpth'in iz sett'in a vibration...I would look @ tha output shaft(Propshaft)...REX:cool:

sometimes its the thrust washer , get the hi perf one

Jerry is that the stainless steel ones? It happened with two brass washers. The prop shaft seemed fine but a closer look might be necessary. Can you feel any gear lashing in Torquemasters? I mean just a little like openeing a safe?

Found one place with them Stainless with a bronze inlay. Any idea where I can get one or two?

I wear out a thrust washer every summer, and I have to re-tighten the nut once every week or so..........LOVE TO STOMP THE HOTFOOT!!!!!!!!!!

David Carver made a thrust washer out of titanium for the same reason, (750 to 800 HP is hard on them thangs)

He said he never had a problem after that!
