Is switching to electronic ignition a good or bad idea?
Also I have twin solex carbs the air cleaners are wire mesh is there a paper replacement for these? And where can I get plugs and plug wires the dealer wants $115.00 for the wires alone! Any help would be appreciated.

A cast iron 4 banger from Sweden, 20-30 years old, with the powerhead laying in the bilge just ain't our thang here.

Being a Swede, I should at least try to help.

1. Plugs: Try NAPA. They seem to have good plug prices.

2. Plug wires: Try any auto store. (I presume there are nothing special with those plug wires - The plug wires on the B20 engine in my 1974 Volvo are just plain plug wires as far as I can remember)
