cant start my newly mounted 2000 150

I dont know what to do. I think everything is hooked up right I just am not sure about efi's and if i am supposed to prime something or what

Does it crank but wont start, or does it not even crank over?

Is it a merc,johnruid or ....... If its a merc is it an opti ? do you have spark,fuel ? check your kill switch. could be lots of things. if it spins over check for spark, if you have spark then it might not be getting fuel. Just tryin to help.

its a 2000 mercury efi it has spark, fuel, but it just wont fire off. I primed the system with the inline bulb. It had old gas in it that was pretty nasty looking and smelling. I have new gas through the filter and pump but once it gets to the big thing on the left hand side I dont know how to get the old gas out of that. (It has something to do with the efi). It was sputtering last night but now today I took the drain off of the efi thing and it wont even fire off at all anymore. Please help. Thanks, Racnjason
