Any body heard of Hustler and express props made by turning point inc.? Boaters world has these props and I was thinking about getting one for my ranger bass boat. I know they wont compare to the high dollar props, but Im kinda courious how they run. By the way, Any one ever ran a Ranger 370-v with a 150 evinrude? kinda courious on what the best setup would be as far as prop, setback, and height. thanks for the input . Fatjohnson73

I have a friend who is using Hustlers exclusively on his new Crestliner 175 Fishhawk/Merc 90. He bought them because of the cheaper core replacement and removable hub. As for the design, I took a close look at his two aluminum and one stainless and the design looked really good to me, very comparable to most other round ear supercup props like Stilettos or Turbos. Actually, probably closer to an OMC Raker. I've seen the boat run many times and ridden in it, and even the aluminum version hooks up great and really flies the bow. He has the motor mounted pretty low but judging from the cup and design I'm guessing they would work well at higher heights and in your application. I'd say they are definitely a good buy for the money.

Thats good news to hear. I think Ill buy the 23p aluminum set. You really cant beat the price. Hopefully Ill get a little more speed out of my rig. Thanks alot. Anybody else used theseprops? Fatjohnson73 :p

I run one on my I/O boat. Watch out as the cup on them tends o be a bit more aggressive. I have a 19p hustler and a 21p MI the hustler turns 50-75 more rpm and is only slightly slower. Hole shot with the hustler is much better though. The blades are slightly thinner than the average alum prop. If I tear it up, I can drop by a local retailer and pick up a new blade unit for 40-50 bucks. I can't get a prop repaired for that around here. I would like to try one of their Express SS models.
