From a diagram I have it looks like it is /was supposed to go to an "Advance module " or "Idle stabilizer module " which ever you originally had .

If it has a stock Laser injection system A yellow / red wire connected to the starter solenoid from the key switch also runs to an input of the ECU for fuel enrichment when cranking the engine over .

With an EFI motor looks like the yellow and black wire is not used . I believe it's normally used to energize enrichment valve with a carb motor. Is it just hanging with a female bullet connector ?

are there 2 yellow/red on tha starter solenoid?.. with 2 yellow/reds on solenoid it squirts every time "start" is engaged... if you want to control tha enrichment with key push take tha yellow/red comin' from tha ecu and make it up to tha "extra" yellow/black stickin' outta tha boat side harness....
